NXNW is NerdWallet’s company-wide conference, a time for the remote-first workforce to get together and nerd out.
NXNW 2022
The inaugural NXNW had a big emphasis on meeting in person for the first time, breaking out of our Zoom screens, and connecting IRL. That theme is reflected in the messaging and branding with repetition of the word “together,” highlighting how we’d be doing everything together: learning, staying, nerding out, and more.
The visual language mixes bold, colorful typography with playful glyphs (a nod to the digital world we were breaking out of!) to capture the spirit and energy of the event.

2022 Toolkit
NXNW 2024
In 2024, the event was focused on the future of the company, the Nerds, and our role in the fintech space as a whole. The branding and messaging evolved to reflect this theme. For example, we introduced a new glyph set, and added overlapping circles and gradients as background elements.
